The views and food was outstanding however our tour guide was without a doubt the very best we experienced during our 35 days of travel.
Very memorable and something we had wanted to do for years.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and had maps to show the whole area. He answered all our questions and took us to every place we wanted to see. Walked me to a New Hampshire grave at the cemetery so I could pay my respects to a person who served from my state. We stayed for TAPS and the flag ceremony. Very moving. Also pointed out places of interest on the 3 1/2 hour drive. Our lunch was at a country farm that had been part of the United States presence. It was all great, even the weather. We would definitely ask for Gilles again.
The most informative and interesting DD tour we could have ever imagined.
We did the most interesting tour of Omaha beach, The American Cemetery, a local apple farm to sample the wines, had lunch and Gilles described other places as we were driving around the area. His knowledge about the war, France and World War 1 +2 was so impressive. We learned more on that tour about WW2 than sitting in a classroom for 5 years. We are SO GLAD we spent the extra money to take this private tour with Gilles. It was worth every cent. We could never have leaned so much if we were on a large tour. Gilles was flexible about how long we wanted to stop for and where we wanted to spend the most time. Our walk around the American Cemetery was really moving, seeing all the crosses really was overwhelming. So many young men sacrificed so much. May we never have another WW again. MERCI Gilles!!

My wife amd I had a wonderful private tour with Lucia. Our time was instructional, insightful and personal. Stories of the nobles came alive, while poor Marie Antoinette came unalived.
Wonderful personalized experience in Champagne region
We had the most wonderful experience with Agnes! She was our guide for three memorable days in Reims. We started with the large champagne houses (Veuve, Pommery and Ruinart) and then spent two days in the champagne countryside visiting smaller Champagne houses. Saw places we would have never found on our own.

My fiancée and I got engaged in France on Valentine’s Day weekend, Finding France handled all of our private tours for our entire time in France, everything was perfect!! Christmas Market Tour- MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE 10/10 RECOMMEND
I’ll start with the fact that I am a travel advisor, who books trips to France frequently, and this DMC knocked it out of the park! I came to Clement, and his Finding France team, with a very last minute Christmas Market tour request, which they graciously accepted when others said it was too close to departure date. Finding France proceeded to blow it out of the water with an amazing initial itinerary, great communication, and easy payments. Outstanding in every respect
One of, if not, the best day trips we’ve ever had. We were picked up from our hotel by an elegantly dressed Paul, right on time, at 9 am, in a clean and very comfortable Mercedes van and whisked away to Versailles. Paul indicated places of interest along the way and was an excellent driver. He phoned Lucia just before arriving to ensure a fuss free handover to our guide. Lucia is Spanish and fluent in French and English. Having studied in England her English is flawless. She guided us firstly through the Palace. We never queued nor waited anywhere once. Her knowledge was impressive as she explained all the important features of every room and she answered all questions easily. After two hours she gave us leave for lunch which we took in the cafe. The other choice is the formal restaurant. After meeting up again we toured the gardens, the water features and the Petit Trianon, then the village and farm that lies beyond. We then met up again with Paul at 4pm and had a really informative drive back to our hotel. Hard to recommend more highly, we had an absolutely brilliant day which well exceeded our expectations.

Our entire experience with Finding France was wonderful. Adeline was extremely helpful and patient in answering our questions about the different tour options and always responded promptly. Our tour to Champagne was truly memorable, largely thanks to our incredible tour guide, Gilles Lorand! Gilles was knowledgeable, fun, and accommodating. Multiple Tours, All Were Great
We did tours of the Louvre, Versailles, and Musee d'Orsay. Our guides were Blerta, Lucia, and Ye and all three were great at telling us about what we were seeing and keeping the kids engaged! The ability to skip the lines was huge! Would highly recommend these tours to people going to Paris.
Giverny and Monet's Gardens
Gilles, our tour guide was fantastic. He picked us up at our hotel on time, with a nice van for the ride to Giverny from Paris. He pointed highlights and history along our drive there and was a great combination of information and letting us explore and enjoy Giverny on our own. Highly recommended him and will reach out for future tours when we are back in Paris.
Exceptional once in a lifetime tour!
Gilles took our large group of 22 to Pommery for a wonderful tour of a large scale Champagne distributor, then we went to Averney to a smaller Champagne distributor- Pierre Morlet. Pommery was wonderful but Morlet was an exceptional once in a lifetime experience. We met with Eric Morlet, who opened 2 champagne bottles “the old way” to remove the yeast in his cellar. Then we tasted multiple champagnes in his warehouse! I would enthusiastically recommend Gilles for private excursions while traveling! Merci beaucoup.

Monet’s Giverny and Versailles with Lucia
This was a private tour of Monet’s Giverny garden and home and the gardens and palace of Versailles. It was a full day tour with a guide and driver. Lucia was our guide and Gerry our driver. They both were great. Lucia is a young woman with tremendous knowledge of both venues. Gerry was a great and safe driver. Easy drop off and pick up for our group and Lucia. We were two couples. Lucia is has very lovely engaging attitude and easily navigated some really crowded spots to get our best viewing benefit. Just a nice lady with lots of smarts as a guide.

Really, really fun!
Lucia did an amazing job taking us around the Louvre. We went as a family of four, two kids (ages 13 and 11), and she was charming and extremely knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!!

What a memorable and unique day! We were able to experience DDay history and locations together as a family, Louis-Marie was an excellent, knowledgeable and kind guide who made every stop special. The experience was flawless - no waiting anywhere. Communication from the company was excellent. We will work with them again for our next trip.
Private tour of champagne area
We had an amazing day with Gilles from Finding France! He picked us up at our hotel and took us on an adventure through the champagne region. He was very knowledgeable on all things champagne and French history as well. We were able to see 2 champagne houses, along with the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Reims and stop for lunch. We stopped at Veuve Clicquot for a tour of their cellars and then onto a smaller champagne house, Pierre Morlet. We loved meeting Eric Morlet and sampling his champagnes at his kitchen table! Such an amazing experience!

We did 5 private tours (...) Montmartre, Louvre, Normandy, Giverny, ... Finding France is an excellent company. Their guides are knowledgeable, polite, on time and make the experiences valuable. I will use them again on future visits. I have visited six continents, used guides dozens of times. Often guides hired for me by people who wanted to impress. Gilles is without question the best guide I ever been assigned or hired.
Normandy Tour
This was an amazing tour with Agnes. She is a true historian. Not only did she share the important details of D-day history, we also learned so much about general French history, culture, and cuisine. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to France. DMC experience in Paris
I recently planned an event in Paris, and as the needs continued to grow, I searched for destination management companies (DMC) and found Finding France. I knew we were in good hands from my first call with Clement. I also confirmed Finding France’s reputation with the 5-star hotel I booked, where Clement came highly recommended.
Clement managed individualized airport transfers across three Paris airports and two train stations. He arranged private rooms at restaurants with affordable rates, entertainment options, and large shuttles for our group, seamlessly accommodating last-minute changes and additions.
The highlight was a stellar experience at the Musée d’Orsay with no wait. The language assistance Clement provided was invaluable, as none of our team spoke French. If you need a DMC in France, Finding France should be your top choice.
5-Star Normandy Tour with Gilles
Our tour with Giles was very interesting and worthwhile. We are very interested in World War II history, and he gave a great tour with lots of information about the war, specific sites, and people. He took us to all of the most important sites of the area, often stopping to explain interesting facts. Giles was also a great guide apart from the history. We visited an awesome Cider tasting place, and the overall conversation all day was great. Overall, it was a very eyeopening journey through Normandy for us, and we would not have been able to learn as much without Giles!

Our FAVORITE day
My family recently completed a tour to Normandy with Augustin. His professionalism, kindness, and knowledge made this not only a very special day but our favorite day while exploring France. We explored many beaches, a German bunker, the American cemetery, a cute French town for shopping, and had lunch. I was so impressed that Augustin was able to accommodate my 85 year old grandma who was in a wheel chair and pick us up from the hotel. I can’t say enough great things about this day and our guide! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable day in Normandy! 10 STARS!!!
Amazing. Perfect guide!
Clément was the most amazing guide for the Normandy trip with my mother. She tore her hamstring before the trip and was moving slow but Clément was very accommodating and anticipated every need that we could ever want well in advance, constantly offering his arm for her stability and pace. He ran to get her a wheelchair in the rain when she became tired with walking. He was intuitive and very knowledgeable of the history & geography during our ride. He supplied a thorough explanation with maps and petit guides to the French monarchy, the history of France and castles of the region. He was patient and kind with stops for toilette & café. He would pull the car near to lessen the walking for us and increase his. We had great conversation and immensely enjoyed the entire day. I wish he had been our guide for every day of our trip.

This tour is a must - you learn so much and gain an appreciation for the sacrifices and impact countless made for our lives today. Agnes, our guide, was just wonderful and so knowledgeable. She was so understanding especially as we had our 2.5 year old toddler with us. Agnes also ensured we stopped midway to get a break from the drive, had enough time to explore each site, shared key highlights including the Time Capsule at the American Cemetery that honestly we would have missed as it’s in a corner not frequently trafficked, and drove us safely home as rain poured.

We had a great experience with Finding France and our tour to Normandy beaches. The company communicated very well prior to the tour, which I appreciated as a tourist. Augustin was our tour guide and we enjoyed spending the day with him; he is very friendly, knowledgeable and personable. You could easily see he prepares very well in advance for each tour. We went with our 9 year old son and Augustin was great with him as well. Everything about the Normandy tour was great, but the "cherry on top" was stopping for the cider tasting/lunch at a nearby spot Augustin recommended and stopping at the town of Arromaches. This tour was the only time we ventured outside Paris, so I loved being able to see more of the Normandy area and not just the the DDay beaches. I felt was very suiting for a company called "Finding France" - I definitely fell in love with the area while "finding France". Thank you Augustin for the great day.

Worth the money
We had an amazing experience and am so glad we chose this tour. Our guide, Augustin, was charming, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history in Normandy, as well as Paris. He took his time with us, had lunch with us, and stopped in a village before we returned home. He even took the scenic route back in Paris and shared his knowledge with us. Highly recommend this tour and Augustin!
