Day 1: A Warm Welcome to Enchanting Provence

Upon your arrival at Aix TGV station or Marseille International Airport (MRS), our dedicated chauffeurs will be on hand to greet you with seamless efficiency and warm hospitality.

Take the time to settle in, unwind, and embrace the serene atmosphere of your surroundings. A soothing massage awaits, easing you into the gentle pace of Provençal life.

As twilight descends, gather by the shimmering pool at Domaine La Parpaille, where Eve, the hostess of this idyllic retreat, will welcome you for an exquisite dinner, accompanied by fine wines and refreshing libations.

• Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at our guest house, followed by a leisurely morning to embrace the tranquility of Provence.

• Our journey then takes us to Ansouis, where we will enjoy an exclusive tour of its magnificent 12th-century château.

As we stroll through the village, we will visit a traditional soap factory and discover the intricate craftsmanship of Daniel Galli, one of France’s most renowned santon makers.

• The afternoon unfolds with visits to Cucuron and Lourmarin, where history, charm, and a touch of shopping await.

• As evening descends, we will delve into the fascinating world of black truffles, meeting some of the region’s most esteemed truffle hunters.

To conclude this remarkable day, Chef Pascal from Saveur Provence will craft an exquisite three-course dinner, showcasing the finest ingredients the region has to offer.

• Start your day with a leisurely breakfast before unwinding with a soothing massage, a private Pilates session, or a hands-on pottery workshop with a local artisan.

• Later, set off on a private tour of Marseille, discovering its iconic landmarks, from the Vieux-Port to the majestic Notre-Dame de la Garde.

• As the sun begins to set, board an 18th-century Tartane sailboat for a magical cruise. Swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Calanques near the Frioul Islands or simply relax with a glass of chilled Rosé, taking in the breathtaking scenery.

• Wander through the medieval streets of Les Baux-de-Provence, one of France’s most stunning villages and its first fortified city (10th century AD). Then, immerse yourself in the mesmerizing Carrières des Lumières, where Monet’s masterpieces come to life in a breathtaking digital exhibition.

In Arles, savor a Roman-inspired feast before exploring its UNESCO-listed historic center, home to ancient amphitheaters that once hosted gladiator battles.

• Later, visit L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a picturesque town of canals and antique treasures, often called the “Venice of Provence.”

Return to our guest house for another exquisite three-course dinner, thoughtfully crafted by Chef Pascal.

• After a delightful breakfast, immerse yourself in the sunlit charm of Aix-en-Provence, the artistic hub of Provence. With your guide, explore the lively farmers’ market and select fresh, seasonal ingredients for our evening cooking challenge.

• Savor a delightful seafood lunch at Poissonnerie Paro, where the esteemed fishmonger Romain will share his expertise.

• In the afternoon, choose from two enriching experiences:

1/ Discover the region’s rich craftsmanship with visits to local olive oil producers, wine cellars, and chocolatiers.
2/ Step into Cézanne’s world at Bastide du Jas-de-Bouffan, where the legendary artist spent nearly 40 years of his life.

• Conclude the day by creating a memorable dinner using the fresh ingredients sourced from the market earlier.

• In the heart of the Rhône Valley, explore historic Avignon, the “City of the Popes,” on a guided walking tour through this stunning, fortified city.

• Enjoy a charming lunch in the hidden village of Tavel before venturing into the renowned wine region of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, home to one of the most celebrated wines of the Rhône Valley.

• To end the day, Chef Florence and a special guest will prepare a memorable dinner, featuring ingredients we’ve gathered throughout the week, followed by a lively musical performance around the pool.

Day 7: Last Day in Provence

Enjoy a heartfelt farewell breakfast at our guest house before your departure.
