During this first night together, our guides will lead a relaxed and engaging conversation exploring the essential pillars of French culture.

• Begin the day with breakfast at our guesthouse, followed by a slow, unhurried morning before departing for Ansouis and an exclusive tour of its twelfth-century château. Wander through the enchanting lanes of the village, stopping at a traditional soap workshop and the studio of Daniel Galli, France’s most celebrated creator of santons.
• Return to the guesthouse for a relaxed lunch.
• In the afternoon, continue on to the picture-perfect villages of Lourmarin and Cucuron, where stories, local encounters, and a touch of boutique shopping await.
• As the sun softens, enjoy an apéritif and explore regional wines in an authentic cellar with Denis, our wine specialist, who will guide you through both tasting techniques and the heritage behind each vintage.
• For dinner, Chef Pascal of Saveur Provence will craft a three-course menu featuring some of the most exquisite ingredients the region has to offer.

• Begin the morning with breakfast at our guesthouse, then choose how you’d like to ease into the day: linger by the pool, shape your own pottery alongside a local artisan, or wander through the lively farmers market in nearby Cucuron.
• We’ll then head to Marseille for lunch in a traditional restaurant, where you’ll enjoy bouillabaisse, the emblematic Provençal fish stew that embodies the spirit of this Mediterranean port.
• In the afternoon, set out on a private exploration of Marseille, taking in its signature landmarks, from the bustling Vieux-Port to the hilltop sanctuary of Notre-Dame de la Garde, whose golden figure watches over the city.
• As evening approaches, board an eighteenth-century Tartane sailboat for a memorable sunset cruise. You may dive into the crystalline waters of the Calanques near the Frioul Islands or simply admire the sweeping views with a glass of chilled rosé. Dinner will be served on board.

• Enjoy breakfast at our guesthouse before setting off for the enchanting lanes of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, tucked at the foot of the Alpilles. If it’s Wednesday, you’ll wander through the lively weekly market, a vibrant tableau of produce, lavender, and local craftsmanship. Stroll beneath the plane trees along the very boulevards where Van Gogh once chased the elusive Provençal light.
• We then continue to Arles for lunch in a local restaurant, where Master Restaurateur Benoît Blanc creates refined regional dishes that highlight the richness of Provence’s terroir.
• In the afternoon, uncover the legacy of ancient Arles with your local guide. This UNESCO World Heritage city brings Roman antiquity into sharp focus: visit the remarkably preserved amphitheater where gladiators once fought, and walk the same streets that sparked some of Van Gogh’s most luminous canvases.
• Later, return to our guesthouse for a hands-on cooking session with Florence, learning to craft traditional Provençal recipes that will be featured at Friday’s farewell buffet. This evening, savor a three-course dinner prepared by Chef Pascal.

• Begin the morning with breakfast at our guesthouse before departing for Aix-en-Provence, the artistic soul of the region. With your guide, wander through the lively farmers market, selecting fresh, seasonal ingredients that will become the centerpiece of tonight’s culinary challenge.
• For lunch, enjoy a refined meal at the Hôtel de Caumont, one of the most distinguished historic residences in Aix.
• In the afternoon, meander through the sunlit streets of Aix-en-Provence with your private guide, Katrin or Denis. Discover elegant avenues, secret fountains, and the effortless café culture that once fueled Cézanne’s creativity.
• Back at the guesthouse, it’s time to roll up your sleeves for a convivial, hands-on cooking session. Using the market treasures gathered earlier, you’ll prepare a multi-course Provençal dinner together.

• Begin the day with breakfast at our guesthouse before setting off for Avignon, the storied “City of the Popes” in the heart of the Rhône Valley. With your local guide, Katrin, enjoy a walking tour through this magnificent walled city, exploring its medieval lanes and the grand papal palace that once shaped European history.
• For lunch, sit down to a heartfelt, home-cooked meal with winemaker Julien of Lou Fréjau at his Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate, beautifully paired with his exceptional wines.
• In the afternoon, delve further into wine country to discover Châteauneuf-du-Pape, birthplace of one of the Rhône Valley’s most esteemed vintages. Then continue to L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the enchanting “Venice of Provence”, where tranquil canals wind past renowned antique shops, a dream for collectors and curious wanderers.
• As evening approaches, meet some of the region’s finest truffle hunters and step into the captivating world of black truffles, Provence’s celebrated “black diamonds”.
• Dinner marks our grand farewell feast. Chef Florence, joined by a special guest, will craft a memorable meal using the remarkable ingredients gathered throughout the week. Celebrate beneath the stars with live local music by the pool, a fitting finale to our Provençal adventure.
