• From this cliff, you’ll enjoy a 360-degree view of the English Channel, with
Utah beach to the west and Omaha beach to the east in the distance.
Meet a local producer of Norman cider, Pommeau, or Calvados – regional liquors crafted from apples.
You’ll have the chance to taste them on the family farm that’s been handed down through generations since World War I.
For lunch, we will recommend the best restaurants in the area for trying local cuisine and specialities such as Camembert cheese.
• Walk on Omaha Beach called “Bloody Omaha” where more than 1000 young american soldiers gave their lives for our freedom on June 6, 1944. This is the beach featured in the movie “Saving private Ryan”.
• Visit the Normandy American Cemetery with its 9000 aligned tombs, its memorial and museum that are very well made. Watch there a short film about DDay that will make you understand the context of the landing.
We might have the possibility of attending the Taps flag ceremony inside the cemetery.
The tour will take you through sites which still carry remnants of battle. You will see along the way war machines like Sherman tank and cannons.

• Immersive theatrical tour of the D-Day beaches with an actor-guide who plays the role of a real GI who fought on June 6, 1944 in Normandy. We propose a visit accompanied by an artist who interprets a soldier present on June 6, 1944 and who depicts this pivotal day of the twentieth century.
