About me

A French native and born in the city of Nantes in western France, I love taking travelers off the beaten path in my country. I have traveled extensively and previously lived in the United States, Ireland, Australia, and Chile. I have a deep understanding of foreigners’ expectations - customer service and attention to detail are essentials for me. If our travelers are happy and completely satisfied, I’ve fulfilled my mission. Before creating Finding France, I also worked as a tour guide for an incoming travel agency based in Paris and as an event planner for individuals and companies. I hold a Master’s degree in management.

What I like the most about France:

The diversity of the landscapes and the abundance of culinary delights that our country has to offer. Each region has so many local products, it’s amazing!

My advice for travelers:

Take your time!
Immerse yourself into the French culture. Don’t try to do everything. Spend time with the locals and share authentic experiences with those you meet.

My hope for travelers:

Experience, share, discover.
I hope that every traveler can experience the beauty that France has to offer, share special moments with friends or family, and discover French history and culture - all while feeling cared for throughout the trip!

About me

I am a French native and lived in the United Kingdom for many years. My work experience has always been centered around my passions, which are travelling, history, archaeology, the arts, ..and literature - and of course good food and wine! I also love trekking, which has led me to venture all over France and some parts of the continents of Africa and Europe.

What I like the most about France:

Our pride in preserving and sharing our beautiful cultural heritage with the world; whether it is Monet’s water lilies, a château in the Loire Valley, a tarte Tatin in a Paris café, cheese in a Normandy market, or a bottle of Champagne.

About me

Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about understanding what makes one culture different from another. While living overseas, I realized how my French identity followed me wherever I went. This heritage is multifaceted, stemming from our history, environment, traditions and social representations. In one word - culture.

What drives me about tour guiding

During our time together, I will do my best to create the most comfortable conditions…anecdotes. However, I will also make sure we have time to discuss your wishes and adapt to your desires. My motivation? That you experience a memorable journey in France!

My hope for travelers:

Sharing is caring.
Since sharing is caring, I am very eager to share with you the different aspects of French culture through Finding France’s many tours. I trust that the trips we will take together will help you discover what makes France and the French people so special.

My hope for travelers:

I want their experience in France to be different from what they had imagined and to exceed their expectations. I believe in a well-organized itinerary that still allows for a sense of freedom, so they can experience the authentic aspects of our country and have opportunities for meaningful encounters.

About me

Of French origin, I was born in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (just like Louis XIV). I've worked in several museums in Paris, including the Louvre, and also spent six years in a Parisian travel agency. I have a passion for adventure and exploration, and I love introducing our travelers to a side of France that goes beyond the typical tourist paths. I have had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout our continent as well as in Asia, and I particularly appreciate Japanese culture.

What I like the most about France:

I take great pride in our architectural, gastronomic, and cultural heritage. At Finding France, our love for France allows us to enthusiastically share the secrets of our beautiful country.

About me

I’m a French native. I’ve always been interested in discovering new things. This includes discovering countries, geography, culture, and meeting people. I’ve traveled to Canada, the US and many places around Europe still hoping to visit other continents, especially Asia.

What I like the most about France:

I prefer the southwest area of France near Bordeaux, especially the city of Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat.

My hope for travelers:

To take advantage of being immersed in a different culture - let your curiosity run wild, become aware of what you’re seeing, create social interactions. All of these things make travel more memorable.

My hope for travelers:

Look forward to inspiring encounters and fascinating discoveries - and always be prepared for the next culinary delicacy to come your way !

About me

Of German origin, I have lived in Cameroon, Mali, and the United States before settling in France...and eventually marrying a Frenchman! With the gift of being trilingual and very happy to share what I know as a professional guide and conference speaker, words won't fail me as I welcome you to Provence. Together we will uncover its fascinating history and artistic traditions.

What I like the most about France:

Welcoming YOU and sharing the beauties of France with you! Let's admire and discover together, observe and experience, taste and smell...

About me

Born in Burgundy some years ago, I have lived all over France. Previous Sales and Marketing experience has also led me to dozens of countries, particularly in Europe. My wife Elisabeth and I used to…It was always a real pleasure to introduce to local gastronomy and wine! Currently in Provence, I welcome you with open arms - we will enjoy the sea, the clear and sunny sky (sometimes windy), the hills and the mountains... without forgetting the historical local treasures and the wonderful landscapes...

What I like the most about France:

Above all, I love sharing my discoveries, my impressions of different places, and listening to travelers’ stories and experiences. My favorite place to meet people is in a friendly winery near Mount St. Victoire, sipping a glass of Rosé wine and enjoying a pissaladière…or on a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

My hope for travelers:

To be moved and impressed by the things we will discover together in Provence - from the “elegant” atmosphere of Aix-en-Provence to the crowded and colorful Cannebière in Marseille...for me, we all need to be travelers, even in our own regions, in order to be ready for new experiences and encounters.

My hope for travelers:

I hope that every traveler who comes to France can, with curiosity and a little time, explore and discover what this country is made of. A museum or a guidebook will give you dates and names, but first-hand experience and your own discovery are priceless.

About me

A trilingual tour guide by training (French-English-Spanish), I gave my first tours at the Abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel before joining the EuroDisney park opening team. In 2010, I moved to California to resume my studies in Marketing and Communications. After graduating from the University of San Francisco, I gave tours in French in the Bay Area. I returned to France at the end of the pandemic, eager to apply what I'd learned over the years in my own country. Curious about everything and full of dreams, I love traveling and storytelling, human contact, discovering new destinations, cultural differences, and world cuisine (without meat!). I recharge with meditation, nature, my family, friends and Onyx, my crazy dog.

What I like the most about France:

Just as I fell in love with the wide-open spaces of the American West and the sense of possibility of settlers looking to the future, I love the sense of history and rich heritage that I rediscovered when I returned to France. No matter where you turn, there is a story to tell and roots to trace.

About me

I was born and raised in the North of France and have always lived there. Working in different fields and sectors has given me the chance to meet people from various backgrounds and cultures. They have introduced me to their traditions, shared important moments of their lives with me.

What I like the most about France:

Every region has its own identity thanks to its gastronomy, dialect and accent, and traditions. It is essential to take the time to admire a craftsmen’s work, taste their local products, learn how an object was made and discover time-honored workmanship. You’ll be able to experience all of it in our beautiful country, not to mention the landscapes that unveil their amazing colors throughout the seasons. There’s nothing more beautiful than watching the sun set over the sea or admiring the fall colors in our gorgeous forests!

My hope for travelers:

Take time to visit little known places, get to know the locals and share each other’s customs and traditions. Discover the numerous wonders that more remote places have to offer.
